Right, looking at upgrading the stero and speakers.

Will be going with near standard speakers front and rear, run off the hu (yet to choose one, but has to be sub £100)

Now the sub I want needs to fit in the rear cubbys of the touring, thinking drivers side since no jack in that one.

The sub needs to be small and ok for open air and not enclosed.

Ideas?

(oh and where to mount the amp)

This is a 4 channel amp built onto a board, but in the driver's side.

Are you looking to make up some sort of board that holds a sub in the cubby hole? I'm no expert but I think this would rattle a fair bit as the trim holding the cubby hole doors are only held in lightly with screws, not to mention the doors themselves which rattle anyway and it would have to have a fair bit of sound deadening to not rattle like mad. Forgive me if you know this already and I have misunderstood.

What size sub are you thinking of 8"?

Yeah 8" Sub.

Will get out and have a proper look at room avaible in the back etc

I was thinking of the cubby holes as per your amp mounting, just hidden away to prying eyes.

To stop all the rattles, was just going to silicon bond everything together 8O

Will search google for what others have done and see what I like.

Have you got a load cover? That hides whatever is in there anyway.
