reason i bought a clarion is that ive had a few head units over the past few year and the best sounding IMO was my £60 clarion HU, so decided to get a decent clarionpac1982 wrote:I wouldnt have a blaupunkt never heard one yet that i liked the sound of and i've heard and played with a few, nothing wrong with Clarion though.jollygreen wrote:hiya! finally in a position where can get rid of my old tape deck and get something around the £160.00 mark been looking at the Clarion FB289RBT or the blaupunkt mp68 hamburg need a handsfree deck anyone had any horror stories or know of anything better ...all help appreciated

Arrived today doesnt seem to brown at all, seems very light as there is no cd mechanism, sound quality is superb, the bass i get from it is unreal, and the high frequencys are very clear, I highly reccomend, only downside is if your a short arse like me you cant see the top of the display. I love the way these sound, prehaps there not as well built as old school clarions but sound awsome, 100% better than my nakamichi cd 300
