M-tech1 kit for cab

Hi... when I get around to it and finding some money (!) is there a special kit for a pre facelift cab or will any of the bits fit ?? Also do I still use the original bumpers or does the kit replace them ??

scrapyard near me has an mtec1 kit in black but wnt be cheap from them Daz

Thx ...but was there 1 made for 4 door, 1 for 2 door and 1 for cabs (talking about the side bits) ?? and is the m-tech1 spoiler colour coded or black ?? I like the black (rubber?) lip spoiler ... thibk the bigger ones don't look right on a cab !

not sure if they made diff kits for s/4dr and cab?

the tech 1 spoiler i have is black rubber on edge with a colour coded panel on the part that sits on the boot itself Daz

Is it heavy ?? And much painting involved ?? Bordeaux red is not a common colour !!!
Could get it sent here for Ãƒ”šÃ‚£25.
I will have another look and see if I can find one over here first ...

How much do you reckon the rest of kit costs ?? And is it front valance, rear apron and 2 side skirts ?? anything else I'm missing ??

thats right mate front rear and skirts poss front lip spoiler on apron??

i only have the spoiler myself

no couldnt decide whether to put it on or not as car looks nice without then was gonna put on 1 of my other cars but not got round to it so selling it instead D

hello mate i have a complete Mtec1 kit for sal with the is rear spoiler because mtec1 spolier looks shite on a cab

I'm almost certain that the 2door & 4 door are the same BUT the cab sideskirts are definately different.

The cabs have deeper sills than the saloons because of the extra strenghtening required when the tin-top is left off.
MTech1 cab skirts for sale are rarer than hen's teeth but never fear; you can still get them from your local friendly dealer............

There is a kit for Coupe/Sedan and another for the convertible. Being in Australia, these M tech I kits are rare as.

I picked up one for my car but it was for a coupe/sedan.

The front and rear bars go straight on however I had to have the sideskirts modified to fit.

It all turned out pretty nice.

schmick325 your cab looks awesome! im in australia too and having trouble getting an m-tech I kit. ill get one eventually though
