A kiwi friend of mine is in the process of manufacturing ultra high quality replicas of the first samples of the old school BBS splits as fitted to early works cars. They won't have magnesium centers but will use a high grade forged alloy. At the moment I they are to be 5 stud, however the method of manufacture means they can be made to most common pcd dimensions and for 4 or 5 stud fitments.
I'd be happy to hook you up with him directly if you should happen to be interested, or anyone else for that matter. I don't think they will be particularly cheap, but this is a fairly niche market allowing folks to achieve an authentic look for the road and/or track day or for racing historics etc.
