Hi guys, HAPPY NEW YEAR!
My question is this; are eyebrow spoilers on an e30 'council'?
The reason I ask is the PO left a set in the boot and I've just realised what the hell the are!
I've seen a few and I don't mind them, but it makes the car look sleepy I think.
Cheers

These ones are colour coded but were never installed, I've just not felt motivated to fitting them, and just wonder if they are tacky. Although I've seen a few with black eyebrow spoilers but then those were black motors too! So 'technically possibly' colour coded!aceraf wrote:I voted no as long as they're black and not colour coded!

Your sidelights will still work as they illuminate around the bulb so at night you will be able to see them.Sawyer_E30 wrote:I likes that. The only thing is that those it make your sidelights/parkinglights useless?no2lurch wrote:get them matt blacked they look cool.

They make an e30 look like it's about to burst out into tears!zaust wrote:It's your car do what you want. I like them, other's don't. Part of what makes us.

I think they're council as feck but I dont really care either. They dont look that bad but they definitely don't look good apart from with an e30zone sticker on them ^ then they look

I think as they're dead cheap and simple to fit council types just can't resist.

They are right up there with lexarse lights in my opinion, utterly horrific and make you look like you wish you had an E36. Normally I keep quiet but you did ask

The PO had fitted eyebrows to mine and I'm about as council as you can get, but I weren't to keen so they have gone.Sawyer_E30 wrote:My question is this; are eyebrow spoilers on an e30 'council'?
saying that they can look good if sprayed to match the grills Matt Black or in my case Gloss Black

Its a very subtle styling mod as long as they are matt black same as the grill. Colour coded ones look gash but whatever floats your boat. your car do what you like to it, if you don't like them and buy a car with them on, take them off.
I would not call my car council because it has them on

I didn't initially expect this much of a reaction!
People definately have an opinion on this form of styling, and so far 57 people have voted.
Everytime I come back to this page the leading vote is always separated by 2 votes either way!

"Fuck the M62 swap I'm gonna get me some eyebrow spoilers"

Hahaa!
At 01:00 in the morning (shit I've got work at 9) it's a draw so far at 26/26, 46% each.

I bought a pair for peanuts but haven't fitted them yet. Not convinced of their looks on a chromie. The beauty is they are cheap and can be easily test fitted. Leave them on for a while and pull them if they don't cut it. I have original headlight covers and can't fit both so will have to decide. The covers are just soooo retro
