now now guys, calm down, this was taken about 12 years ago, built for longmill, but was too 'extreme' for them, so it never got to drop in anger at any competitions. but boy was it loud, i think it hit 154db,not too sure.i helped build this with a bloke called tony bennett, those of you who know the old skool crew will remember him. it was all longmill, black widow 2 and 4 channel amps, 4 lorry batteries to power it all.would rattle shutters at 100yds!

Longmill will still be the best in my eyes , still got a paid of 8" subs only 250watts max but they can take a beating! , also Old Skool Jbl subs were crazy , but the gti subs can take 1k rms over the rated 700watts

yeah, thats the one. had a shallow horizontal v shape box with 4x15" subs. that got replaced with the above. but longmill didn't like it.....sissys! must admit tho, the body kit they put on it afterwards did look the nuts...should've kept it like this...a true animal.

longmill shut up shop n flogged everything....big shame. they did give tony an mk4 escort estate, to which he put 8x15" subs in the back seat....which was nice!

Tony Bennett, Mr "ice man" Think he had the camero back then, I used to work with Prestige and New Image back then. He came and shook his head at us when we built the escort van for the 95 or 96 sound off at wembley.
