Right Ive got an oppurtunity to order some brand new supersport coilovers for just over £200, so Im going for it!

Only problem is there is two options as the rear is a fixed height, either in 40mm or 60mm. Front is height adjustable though.

Now I want the slammed look but Im running on 17s and worried about any arch rubbing issues...

Any advice/pics greatly appreciated to see the drop!! Cheers :)

Both should be fine. Mine's down by 120mm. No arch rubbing issues, but it's defeated by speed humps. I've been told about drive shaft problems though, since large drops mean the driveshafts enter the diff at sharper angles, after a while the shafts and diff wear out.

I'll try and find a pic...

high, if you going for the "slammed" look then the 60mm will be up your ally. with regards to the rubbing issues, that will depend on the wheel you are installing, what is the ET? and tire size for 17" are usually 205/40 R17.

Im not sure of the 17 stats that are on it currently (they're the E36 M3 reps... bought it with them on), but the ones Im refurbing at the moment to go on are 17*7.5J, ET 24. The tyres will either be 215/40/17 or 205/40/17, cant remember off the top of my head!

I drive like a granny anyway so Im not bothered about speed bumps tbh; my other car is a golf which has around inch and half ground clearance, lol!

These are the alloys anyway, plan to respray them white to go on a black car:

White on black. Can't do that !!!...

As long as the offset is correct then rubbing won't be an issue, I used to have 17"s & 60mm. But now it's 80 16...

Hi
My one is dropped 40mm on eibach springs, you should have no issues with rubbing. I am running 205/40R17 tires at the moment, but will be upgrading to 215/40R17 as this will give a better ride.
