Advice wanted to fit 318iS front spoiler

Hi
I've bought a 318iS front splitter to replace the standard one missing from my 316i.
The fittings for the 316 are in place at the bottom of the front panel but appear different to those needed for the iS
Do I need to buy new brackets and if so can you help with a part number and price.

hmm I thought they were the same, the clips are available from a dealers though. have you got a post 1987 car?

they are the same clips. i replaced all mine not so long ago

Thanks everyone for your replies. I expected the clips to offer more positive location than they look as if they will, but now I've fitted the spoiler it seems sound.

The clips are the same, have just done the same swap on my iS. 3 of mine were broken so had to swap them off my mashed up valance!
If you have a reasonable set of clips they do locate well- as I said my end ones were ruined so it didnt fit right, changed them and jobs a good 'un!
