is it possible to some how dye the cloth seats you get in e30's?

reason i ask is my car has the blue interior, blue carpets, door cards and seats but i have aquired 2 325i sport front sport seats in grey cloth.

the cloth pattern is the same but obviously the colour is not.

is there anyway i could dye the whole interior black/dark grey? i know you can get colourant for leather but am unaware of anything for car cloth/fabric interiors

have a look at the carpet thread..It is a spirit base so it dries quickly ...lots of fumes and defo wear rubber gloves .. I would take the seats out to do it

I can vouch for the glove wearing, I bought a tin recentley to dye my blue carpet, the tin had a slight split in the bottom, it took about a fortnight to completley wash off my hands.

Valtersprides packaging leaves a bit to be desired.

Will have to keep an eye on this - I wanted to do it but I'll admit I have bottled it every time! Let us know how you get on!
