m50 2.0

what power gains can u get out of the m50 2.0 if any? or is it just worth holding out for a m50 2.5??

M50B20 comes with 150 bhp as standard, so it's an expensive exercise in getting 15 bhp less than dropping in a M20B25, although I suspect there would be a bonus in fuel consumption.
No harm in putting one in, as an interim measure, if you have a virtually free one, as when a M50B25 comes up, it'll just be a straight engine swap.

yeh i have one free. i really would prefer a m50b25 but having missed 2 for sale lately lol. and as brian says it will only be till i do manage to get the 2.5. performance wise yeh it will be a big drop but i wont be using the car much as im doing the cosmetics
