Just wondering if anyone has fitted the Rotrex kits that Ant is selling to their M20. Very tempted by the kit but hoping if anyone could provide any feedback about them e.g performance, noise, etc. Also would the standard Motronic run it or would MS or Unichip be required. Also is there a requirement to run on Super Unleaded and would there be reliability issues fitting one to a 19 year old M20 (140k, head rebuilt @120k). Sorry for all the questions but any responses would be much appreciated. Thanks.

You need ms or an alternative mapable ecu.
Super unleaded isn't required if the ecu is mapped accordingly
I can't really comment on reliability issues, however i'm in the process of ant building my engine for the rotrex chrager (high boost option). and ive had the whole engine rebuild, head welded , je forged pistons @ 7.5:1 oringed block, new rockers etc etc
Its far from cheap to do it this way but my school of thought is, if you do it right you do it once.

The kits are a complete bolt on affair, no requirement to remove the engine, any half decent mechanic could have the entire kit fitted in around 8 hours.
