Hi Guys I havent posted in a while, my car is running well with the Weber had a problem where the timing was retarded too much and vacume advance was not connected but that has been sorted out.
One thing that I have noticed since reconnecting the vacume advance and redoing the timing is that it has something like turbo lag but when I hit 3500 rpm all hell breaks loose(Well all hell for a 316)
I have done a search on the web and on the form as well as E30 club in South Africa about turboing a 316 I have some particular Q that arnt answered by these posts.
1: To convert the 316 to Fuel Injection I would Need the 318i Head, Intake TB and Wiring loom and ECU is there any thing missing from my list?
2: How would I control fueling on the car as it doesnt have any crank sensors ect for a Management system
3: What would be safe to boost on normal Comp. i was thinking 0.3-0.5 Bar.
I a different post has touched on these Q please point me in the right direction
Thanking you guys in advance.

1/ I think the 318i head is a better head anyway. bigger ports ?
2/ full stand alone.

Try to track down a e21 320 4cly which runs k-jet for the manifold (very common in the US), then rob the turbo spec k-jet from a volvo turbo or ford escort rs turbo K-jet is very simple and only a few wires require to get it to run

Hi Ed325i and e21Jason
I was thinking standalone in SA we have a system called Dictator which works a dream on turbo cars.
Jason unfortunately we didnt get the e21 in South Africawhat is the difference between the L-Jet and K-Jet manifolds I only know what the E30 manifolds look like, would the K-Jet system off a Golf 2 gti work?
What would the pro/cons be between the L-Jet and K-Jet i know that the K-Jet is a continual injection of fuel into the motor.
