Hi every 1 im new on here, iv got a e34 525i sport 24v & just bought a E reg 325i sport, want to strip it & make a Track/Drift car, whats the best engine conversion for this, 2.5 24v m50 i think, 3.5 m30 or my standard engine/ 2.7it. i want to cam what ever i do, but use my gear box if poss.

Whats the 325i sport like? Might be better to start with a lesser model if its nice... not many Tech1's about now.

Depends on your budget and what you want out of the car.

If the car is going to track the best way to make the car faster is lightening it and building a good suspension setup. After that you have to learn to drive and only after that you need more power than basic M20 can deliver :wink:

Anyways, you'd need something light as the engine, so some of these would be good choice S14 / M20 / M50 / S50
