Not doing it yet but am thinking about this more and more.
Not got much time on my hands at the mo so i'll admit to not properly serching the forum yet, just hoping some people will help me out with a bit of info!!

Assuming I got a 3.2 with 6 speed box (i know i need to get all the electrics too!!) -

Engine mounts - what happens here? Someone do a kit or does something need to be fabricated??

Problems with the sump?? Sure i heard a rumor about this??

Manifold i've heard is the main prob, but i know where there may be one available!!!

I'm assuming i can use the 6 speed box - but what diff would i use?? E36? Z3? What ratios are available (LSD)? Or is E30 diff strong enough?? Or maybe get a nice new quaife diff of some type??

Prop shaft - what happens here then??

I've heard i may need to move/change the braking system - but that's not a prob as i intend on completely changing it for something different anyway!!!

Think that's the bulk of the issues, but please feel free to point out any i may have missed!!

Hoping someone will take the time to briefly reply to these points!!!
I may start buying bits up soon, so if you have any good deals to offer....

Many thanks,

Rob.

engine mount arms - e36
engine mount rubbers - e28 M5
Gearbox mount - 325i and rubbers
Sump - remove baffles - e34 M50
Manifold - major hassle, if not dont right will lose alot of power
Diff - e30/z3 diff i think 3.64 ratio with the 6 speed box
Prop - Iirc 6 speed still uses e30 M3 prop, tho a 328i one works also, or a modded e30 one
Brakes - Servo is the issue - Most used mod atm is Golf servo moved across
Wiring - Not too bad with diagrams, extra EWS hassle, mine too 12hrs to wire up iirc (Non EWS)
Rad - E36 M3
Leccy fan needed
Exhaust system - twin 2" min

Erm...

P.S You didnt look v hard at all.. :P This has all been covered many times recently

A shortened prop is needed for the 6spd box, the E30 M3 prop etc wont fit.
