Hey lads

I know this isn't the right section, but its F/I in a way!

I just picked up a ZF M50 box for my 318iS Turbo in New Zealand. It wont be going on the car for some time so I want to get anything I need to buy over here.

I am 99% confident it will bolt up to the M42 (It has getrag 260 with a cut and rotated bellhousing on there now after the getrag 240 died)

I THINK the ZF it is slightly longer than the getrag and it has the larger diameter driveshaft guibo...what driveshaft do I need to use, a manual or an auto e36 one? if its manual I may need to buy it here as they are hard to find in NZ. If its auto I can pick one up at home and maybe get it lengthened/shortened and balanced.

If you are curious I wanted a CR box for the turbo, plus the e36 box is newer than any e30 box. Plus, if I don't use it for the turbo I can use it on an m50 swap

Cheers Guys
