...but no ECU/EWS with it.

Will this be more hassle than it's worth?

It's a 3.2 litre M52 and I've been told it's from a US-spec Alpina auto, so I'm guessing a B3 E36 or a B10 E39. If the LHD manifolds are different as well as needing a custom-mapped ECU I'm wondering whether the bragging rights and extra ponies will justify the extra cost and hassle of this motor.

Opinions?

260 odd brake and 330Nm so it's got some go but you'll need/want the ECU imo

omi, msn me dude. engine will be awesome, depends on budget? my bro might be keen, then you could have his steel linered 328 m52?
