Anyone have an idea how much more work is involved to fit the S38 into the E30, I already have an M30 in mine so I'm thinking I'm halfway there...?

A quick search revealed issues with the exhaust manifold, any other major issues to speak of?

Karan is your man but these are a few things i can think of.....

custom exhaust manifold
engine hitting the bonnet if you don't space the subframe down
clearancing problems with the plenum and brake servo

I think Karan had some issues withe the S38 'stat housing being to big, his build thread should be in this part of the forum so have a good read through that.

Thanks, came across Karans thread earlier and noted the above points you mentioned.

Any idea of the going rate for S38 running gear? Although i may just buy a full car and get some money back by breaking the rest of the car... seem to be a few chaep high mileage examples about at the mo.
