Nice!
Thats the same route I'm planning to follow. 2044cc with E36 M3 throttle bodies. I already have the throttle bodies but its going to be a good few months before I can start thinking about building a motor.

There's a much longer thread on this engine on bimmerforums from when he built it a few years ago. Most impressive thing is the budget he did it on, less impressive are the pistons and standard cyl head etc. I seem to remember him quoting silly horsepower in previous threads, like 170whp, but in this thread he has a more sensible figure (100kw is about 134whp - in context 15whp more than agreens, 10whp less than mine, but the peak power is really not the whole story with the larger capacity).
agreen, shhh read and learn. so many questions! you can put pretty much any bosch injectors you want into an IS, it will run like shit though. Yours is fuelling nicely after the remap, so why change the injectors? That would be extremely dumb.

Has anyone got a link to the thread on bimmerforums?
Also Tim, I was wondering if you could give me a few links to your engine build as I know its been on a few forums. I've seen it on M42slub for one. Its much the same formula I have planned.

m42club and here are the only place i've posted about it really dude. Why don't you buy the car off me? My mate was supposed to have it, but he went and bought squeal's one, so I'm left a bit buggered at the mo! could easily break some bits off it and flog or flog it complete.

I'm not sure I can justify breaking yet another 318is, but I could be interested if the price is right. The trouble is is's tend to hold a reasonable value. If you're serious about breaking, would you be willing to sell the engine and management?
It does seem a shame to break it though.
Chris.
Sorry for hijacking, I meant to send a PM!!
