320 in to 318

hi can any one tell me what parts of the loom do i have change on my 318i to fit 320i m20 engine and will the 318i diff be ok or not

To mu knowledge its just the engine loom itself mate, unplug it in the engine bay and then drag out the ecu part. Get hold of your 329 loom and replace the engine / ecu loom it is actually really easy.
As for the diff think 320 or good for 325's but 318 I am unsure. Sorry buddy.

Keep the looms on the engines! No need to remove them.
No provision on the 318i body loom for the oil level sensor, so that won't work, but apart from that it's just plug and play.
You need to change/modify the air filter mount for the 320 one. Diffs on 320 and 318 are both small case, and the ratios aren't far different.
