hi guys
as you know im turboing my convertible :)

and still waiting for heatwrap for the manifold to fit the engine in.
(dam postal strike :x :x )

anyway was looking on the bay and came acroos a apexi boost controler

now im still new to this turbo game and dont have a clue what bits are good or bad

but this gadget seems quite cool

does any1 have this or similar?
is it worth having?
what does it actually do?

will it work with megasquirt?

MSExtra has Pulse Width Modulated boost control, open-loop and closed-loop options, you'll just need a solenoid valve to modulate your wastegate. Have a search of the MSExtra manuals for boost control. MSII Extra (or whatever the extended code for the new chipset is called) also has boost control (So I'm told on the MS forums) but it seems as yet to be undocumented... helpful eh :roll:

I'm planning to use the MSI V3 board with MSExtra code (and a bit of electronic trickery) to drive this vent valve giving me low rpm boost control on my roots blown bike motor.
