wasted spark problem

started me car for the first time since i strapped a turbo to it, and it started first time with the wasted spark all good, all of a sudden its misfireing, cylinder 3 and 4 are sparking but very weak, the rest seem very strong??
any ideas??

Make sure the HT leads are not arcing out against anything, I found the wasted spark system has much more power and in turn will jump out of the leads much easier. Bigger & better leads helped mine no end.

na no arcin, just really weak spark but the rest are fine? doin my head in!!

if so, open the lid and check the coil ignitor wiring, there was a bad joint in the iirc dude, blob O solder should have it up and running OK again, if not replace the VB921Z ignitor FET and try again, they are relible units dude, but I have killed one with too much dwell so it can be done.

I had a week spark on my wasted system and i grounded the coils inside the unit directly to earth and it solved the problem?

Like you say it provides a strong spark so a good earth is needed to provide sufficient dwell.
