Just thought I'd share my excitement as finally I'm there and it's only days till I'm back in the driving seat. Windscreen and tuning to do as yet but that's the easy bit, well hopefully :D

It feels SO GOOD having it sorted, just hope my driving license lasts long enough to enjoy it fully

Cool mark, Well pleased for you.

I have that same dump valve in my shed. I actually got it out today and wondered about fitting it instead of the bosch re-circ one. I promptly put it back thinking that I don't want to break anything before Le mans!

Thanks, it's a A-Tech early R&D bitch originally but stage 2's built for lots of fun :D

Turbo's a Holset H1C, 55/82 compressor, 67/63 turbine on a 18cm3 housing, full boost varies, going off datalogs from a while back it started spooling at 2k and rammed home at 3k in 3rd gear, not been able to get into 4th as yet :D

Also can anyone work out speeds with given gearbox, diff ratios and wheel and tire sizes? need some info.

Mark.

Midnight ( Kevin?)

I've been on wasted for about 6 months but just not got everything working right, turned out to be WB packing up followed by cronic HT lead failure, was a F****** T*** of a job working out what was going on. Still did so much rewiring, upgrading, software changes etc I'm v-confident about my MS stuff now, fingers crossed it all pays of in the end.

There isn't much point trying without a BOV, 2 reasons, 1st turbo would blow pipes off and 2nd my wastegate dumps to atmosphere so once thats going you're deaf and startled for about 10 secs anyway :D
Dimmy's car is BOV-less, the chatter is pretty cool and I did have some from the T3 (R32 RB20) I had before, internal gate was close to the bulkhead so could be heard well once boost was up to 10psi or so.

Be good to meet up soon, I've seen/heard your car in the flesh but not met you, I'll be out to play soon

yeah its kevin alright, i know what u mean about the wasted spark conversion. it can really be a pain in the arse to get right, i ended plaing around with the ford edis 6 coil pack which i heard wasnt the most popular choice to use cus of the dwell settings, but it seams to be working ok. but i know what ure on about the ht lead failue there is a lot of heat in that one place i just ended up rapping a shed load of heat rap around the leads to give them at least a slight chance lol.
im still getting used to ms but my mate is the brains on the management side of the project, but im getting stressed out with all the teething problems but i suppose no pain no game.

and im getting jealous of everyone rolling with the holsets, and theres me still with the baby t3. haha
