I know its not an E30 but hey just wondered what people thought
of me putting an M5 V8 engine into my E34

no harm in it but wouldnt you be as well just buying an e34 m5?

No, E34 M5 was 6 in line S38 not V8. E39 was V8 - S62.

Well I just had a brief but interesting visit to Hayward & Scott. To say they are busy is an understatement, I had to book them 1 month ago and the place is packed. When I was there a Lister V12 Jag came in for a new system, they had an original Cobra and immaculate 1950's Vauxhall Victor on the ramps and there was a ratty E30 with a 3.8 M5 engine outside waiting to come in...
Heh - I bet that was Karan's project 8)
