I would like to put a turbo on my car.

I have been looking at this...
Image

Can somebody tell me in detail which other parts are needed and things which need to be done, such as:

1. Type of Turbo
2. Turbo oil return lines
3. Intercooler
4. Using specific parts in the engine like pistons, rods etc.

I want to know:
5. How much money i should spend for a basic setup.
6. What power will it give out.
7. How reliable is it.
8. ECU programming or superchipping.
9. ADVANTAGES & DISADVANTAGES WITH A TURBO CONVERSION.

BASICALLY, I WANT A STEP BY STEP TUTORIAL SO I CAN WORK ON IT LIKE A KINDER SUPRISE.

Not everyone can afford to do that though.

Purple :
Have a good look through this section of the zone as there is loads of info on how to do this type of conversion. If you can do things yourself then it will be a lot cheaper going DIY route. If you dont have the ability or can afford to pay someone then fair enough.

Get a copy of PPC mag, look for the page where you can order back issues, find the issues where it shows a step by step home turbo conversion.

Also, you're going to need to manage it with a Megasquirt system or similar, I believe Ant is an authorised dealer for them in the UK so it would be a good idea to have achat with him about them anyway.
