standard inlet is fine.
Exhaust go to 666 fabrication for the best.
The late engines don't require alot of internal work, due to the low compression ratio and the over engineered nature of the m20.
Particular attention is required on the head/ block interface. i.e head studs or 12.9 bolts.

What are you doing to the head? Most people don't bother flowing them because the money is better spent elsewhere, like O rings and welded water channels...

the water channels are gettin welded anyway cos i want to put some deacent boost through it. was just gonna get it flowed an ported but you dont think its worth it? the car is a minter so not afraid to throw money at it cos i dont like half a job... thought about m3 or m5 motor but rather keep the m20 lump an squeeze as many horseys as i can out of it........
soon as i get my arse in gear il get some pics up an keep a record of eveything i do an every mishap on the way "spanners flyin" might be some help to other people.

Rossle, would like to do this conversion myself
but scared of ruining a mint low mileage m20 sport.
There must be a solid safe way of turbo charging an m20
without blowing the bolts out of it.
Like Turbo Technics does for Vauxhall, does any specialist
do a full conversion for the 325i ?
Just hand it over and pay the money with peace of mind.

i have already had a 420bhp 2wd cossie and an e36 4door m3 so i dont feel im missin out on anything there. i like my projects, i have also got a fireblade streetfighter for sale too if anyone wants interested in a show winning bike... dudster mate, i thought bout doin that too but i would get more satisfaction doing it myself, plus i would know exactly where i was with it, ie knowin whats been done to it,
