we all no how hard it is to find a manual e32 735 e28 535 e34 535 at a reasonable donour car price.
if your lucky enough to find one they are usualy pricey if they have'nt been ragged all there lives.
it's a different story with the auto's they are less likely to have been ragged to within an inch of its life.

say one was to sorce a big six 3.5 auto as a donour for an e30 conversion.
what manual gearboxes would slmply bolt on to the six pot.
ie m20 box etc or would it have to be an m30 manual box.

i no that a manual 3.5 fly wheel would have to be used.

ie m20 box etc or would it have to be an m30 manual box.

You can use a m10 engined 318/316 gearbox.
I know where there is a complete 735 manual if you are near cambridge.

LOL.
I have 2 of these in my yard right now. both under 115.000 and both manual.
both are e34 535i's and very quick. complete car minus a few bits for £100 if you are near the midlands.
Hope that helps
Dan

Just got my £200 Superchipped 535i manual on the road, and it's a good Jekyll & Hyde car - you can just waft along letting it drive itself, but bury the loud pedal and it takes off very nicely (though I think mine has a 525i diff)
