Would think the spacing is about right, but only guessing.
I'll move this to engine swaps, as that's where the nutters that know this kind of thing hang out!

you would be better of making some up... the effort to make up a spacer plate is just not worth the gain especially on an m20.... there are a couple of videos of m20 ITB set ups and i havnt heard of anyone saying it makes a massive differance.

have you got your working e21jason?

i think for the money you spend on them you would be better of making up a turbo set up

They are just SO much too big for an M20!

45mm sticks in my mind?

You really don't want anything over 40mm for an M20 that's not going in an out and out racecar!

Hi

They are 50mm but tapper to a flat oval i need to measure the size to see (Edit they are a 52mm x 28mm flat oval which is about the same area as 40mm Dia) if I will use them or buy 40mm jenvey throttle bodies, the advatage is the come with a throttle linkage, injector rial. ICV connection, brake booster connetion, MAP take off's & TPS.

It cost me about 1k for the throttle bodies, air box and custom adaptor manifold. (i could not work it out using a spacer plate unless you bolt the spacer from inside the head or weld it to the ITB's as the mouting studs clash)

Also on the e21 there is no brake booster to clear, when i tried them on my 325i touring they hit the brake booster.
