E30 340i V8

has anyone done this?just a thought as a nice e34 manual 540 is up near us and trying to get my mate to buy it...then dumpalump in an e30 instead of buying a e36
i thought same rules apply as 335i near enough regarding sump etc should be ok as its e34, what sort of bulkhead/radiator clearance issues are there?
just some ideas/potential problems please as i think this would make a wicked project, just need a few facts to back up the old peer pressure

Do not think that this swap is the same as an m30 335 swap as it is way more difficult due to the width of the engine.

You need to fab engine mounts , exhausts and manifolds , move the brake servo as there is no bulkhead space .

Engine is very wide and tall and is a total pain in the ass to work around .

hes a bit more sensible than me, but i think the idea of a 290bhp V8 e30 appeals know any good translators of all these german sites we keep finding?? lol if i could afford the fuel and running costs id buy it and do it myself...sounds very nice indeed
