twinnned cossie units dude !, use two cores , one on top of the other and have new tanks made to suit , or....

I can supply a unit 70% larger as per the "racecar" thread Kev.

What are the charge temps like ? ambient + ?? on full throttle/boost ? , its not always the IC thats at fault, a compressor outside its efficient range will pump a lot of heat into the intake charge.

:D

wheres this racecar thread u are on about?? well the intake temp under full boost down the motorway is 14dC coming home last night from south end. in all fairness the cossie cooler is quite efficient, but u cant beat a big fuck off sized cooler that takes up most of the front panel!!!

Don't get one made until you've had a good poke around a scrapyard for one midnight. Check out Volvos and light commercials like Sprinters and Transits for intercoolers. You should find a whole load of different shapes and sizes in any half-decent scrappie for a lot less than it'd cost to get one made.

true, but its far more efficient Kevin

the fins are stacked alternating to make the surface area 2X the frontal area.

BTW, thats the A-Tech "small" intercooler. there are 2 more in the range, 2X that one and 3.5X that one.
