m30 manifold ?

is there any modding required to the manifold on m30 conversion ?

Exhaust manifold, if you have time you can grind the ports out to match the gasket otherwise theres a lip the exhaust gases have to go over, LOL, probobly worth 0.7bhp gains, but it's a free mod !
You will also need to grind down one of the flanges to give you clearance for the steering coupling.
Inlet manifold, it can be handy to grind the casting seem off the manifold to give you more clearance for the servo, oh and they look nice painted

i never ground the flange when i did mine.
Just heat it up and bend it a little
