If intercooler is cracked???

As above, Dunno if im being a bit paranoid, but got in this morning and as i was looking around the car i heard a hissing coming from the front! when for a quick drive and ive still got boost, question is, if intercooler is cracked, do you lose all your boost or can you just lose some?

you cant make bost @ idle Erel, so I doubt its the IC M8

will go for a proper squirt 2moro and find out. i scraped my bottom valance on kerb and thought i'd have a look, then thought i heard hissing.. just wondered if even a small leak from the IC would prevent boost? or would it still boost but not hold as strong?
