whats the difference between a 530i lsd, and a standard e30 diff, with regards to fitting to the vehicle?Cheers Alex

To fit the e34 diff to a e30 takes alot of mods to the rear beam drive shalfs etc.

Yes but the same size diff from a E28 fits winkeye

You need to make a bracket up for the rear diff cover mount, but thats not a problem.

Would this be for the large E28 diff?

Dont the medium E28 diffs (same size as E30 large case) fit by changing the rear cover for the E30 cover?
