turbo engines pressurise the crankcase so, if the engine is left with the stock closed breather setup it will puke oil out anwhere it can find, on M20's its normally found pi$$ing outa the rear and fornt mainseal.
Turbo cars have to have either the breather venting to atmosphere, or to a catch tank and then vented to the intake of the snail.
Chu, you still not running dude ??????

Not on MS mate, back to motronic. Been playing a little bit with MS and still can't get spark to work. My LC1 isn't working correctly either, it seems like it doesn't warm up correctly according to the software it came with. I'll have a look at the weekend.
I've been waiting to fozzy to come and have a look at the car as he wanted to do a deal with some wheels i've got but this has been going on for months now.
On topic: is this due to pressure going past the rings into the crankcase?
Also would oil go back through the throttle body more than usual?

cheers guys. i found out its was my turbo.so ive got a 2nd hand one as a replacement
ive sill got to make a breather for it tho as ive got a bit of oil leaking for my rocker cover cap.am going to plumb it into my rocker to a catch tank. i had it running 10psi it was alwsome
(it was spining in 4th gear) but i had a bit of a fuel prob.so ive turn it down to about 5psi and its running mint and sill usable as a everyday car.
just need to found a insurance who will insure it as a 320i turbo if anyone knows of any i would be very great full.cheers guys

ive fitted a breather from the rocker cover to a catch tank that has another pipe to return the oil to the sump and a vent pipe with a small air filter on the end.different engine but the theory will be the same.
