325i sport + 535 crank =2.7???

A mate of mine told me the other day that if u put a 535 crank in2 my 325 it would more or less be the same as an alpina. Can't believe it could be the easy

oh and its not as simple as just fitting the crank to do it properly

There seems to be many ways to do it, each with their merrits and respective costs.
The way I'd do it would probably start with an Alpina or 324td (is that the one?) crank as it's forged; but I've heard no tales of ETA cranks breaking or anything like that.
Search in the technical help section, you will turn up loads to read and mull-over.
