Think someone over on E36coupe.com did it but said it was really difficult and not really worth it.
Personally think they'd be a bit too large in diameter for the 2.5 litre engine too.

I read that he gave up mid moddification, had an angled adaptor plate made up so they could be physically bolted to the head but the angle of the injectors was all cock-eyed and the oil filter housing needed to be moved.
