MS2 is not good for the M40/42/20/30 series engines, the code is not developed enough to use the VR pickup used on our BmW's
Use MS1 processor and the -Extra codebase and the world is your oyster
you looking to DIY a kit or buy a complete setup for a DIY wire up session ?
Happy to help with enquires, drop me a PM if you like dude

( I've had two Ms1's now, one premade, then DIY )keggy wrote:how hard would the diy kit be?
Mine took 8hrs, 20 cups of tea, plenty of headscratching and some swearing when I stabbed myself with the soldering iron, yes it was plugged in also
But you will need the stim for testing, the loom, sensors and a laptop.
The actual building it wasn't too bad really and I'm NEVER built a curcuit before, let alone a ECU with 100's of bits.
I did however get my handywork checked for peace of mind and some extra mods while it was there
What you don't get is Ant's input, a tried and tested install plus his experiance and general know how. Mine too was fitted by Ant, I'd like to say I did more but I mostly made tea and crimped some wires
All up your best bet is a pre-built, tested MS1 V3 with working sensors and a fresh live wideband'd map, installed by a pro and a full demo on how it all works etc.
Just my 2p.
HTH, Mark.
