Finally I got my bonnet back on Sunday after 4 Months of dicking around!

I've got a new A4 list of To-Do's but the end is in sight winkeye An afternoon of work should get through most of that list and the rest can be done over the winter when it's tucked up in the garage.

I've not updated my website for ages so theres loads to do on it and looking at ste's project website I need to improve it a lot!

Thanks again to everyone on here who's helped me out (you know who you are!). And thanks to the zone, I'd have less scraped knuckles and a lot more money in the bank if I hadn't found you!

I'll get some decent pics up at the weekend after i've got things sorted and gave her a good clean. Here's a wee taster!

Thanks for the kind words and offers of male body parts!

Spadge, the colour is Lazer Blue.

Stew, the blast would have been longer if I didn't have my mate in the back causing the tyres to rub winkeye

If mine looks as good as that when it's finished then I'll be a very happy bunny indeed. Well done that looks the business.

The wheels are 5 stud BBS rims - he's done a swap to E30 M3 front legs / rear hubs.

The S50B32 is is the 3.2 litre straight six from the E36 M3 Evo (321bhp).

This car is one of my favourite E30s, and there are a lot of very nice cars on this board 8)

respect to anyone who can plan a project like this and then still be bothered to actually do it when people all around him are talking the talk but never going for it.

most of us here have grand plans but they aint ever gonna happen. you actually did the job.

I could not have done it without the help of the Zoners who have completed or are still working on their conversions.

Its not the easiest E30 conversion but the sheer brute force of the thing when its completed makes up for all the effort. I almost gave up a couple of times (first engine trashed & the locking LSD incident) but now I feel I could tackle anything! winkeye

Would I do it again......maybe if my wife left me!
