...DA stands for drift alterd winkeye

So I`m almost done with my baby, for a long time I thought this day wouldn`t come....

The plan was to build a E30 that works reliably, has lots of low and top end power, revs smoothly and looks a little diferent winkeye

so here goes:

M20 B25 out...

The car had been striped almost to the bare shell, all the sound deadring has been removed, and the brake lines chandged, the brake booster is from a golf 2.

I also cut some non nececary metal of the car(i love it light winkeye )

I also removed the rear subframe, and had a friend build me a pair of poly bushes...

Here`a pic of the engine bay, awating the M50 B25 lump...

I`ve instaled the E36 steering rack, and thankfuly there`s no manifould issues with us LHD boys in Europe winkeye :D :D

the mighty M50-Vanos edition

the next day I spent most of my day on the engine and the wiring...
looked like this:

I also installed an electric fan from the E32 seven series...

Then I had some time off the engine, beacuse I waited for the DME to be fixed ( acident damadge...had 3 DME on stock, came out with one that works...),so I started to work on the bodykit for the bitch...
E30 original front bumper for the uperr part, midlle section is from the E36 M3,and the bottom lip is the DTM look lip...
Image
I also customed the E36 M3 side skirts, and made a hybrid E30/E36 rear bummper to finish off the styling part of the car...

The interior:

The lever on the right side of the car is the hydraulic fly off handbrake..made by myself...

Here are some more pics of the almost finished car..(have lots and lots of detailing to do...)

Things to do:
-airbox awaiting to be built...
-lift up the rear silencer(all the way to the bummper...)
-got some running issues with the engine(will post a topic in the technical section...)
-make a rear BTCC like wing winkeye
-in the winter time: roll cage, spot welding...
-lexan windows, and some more weight reduction..
---DRIFT THE FUCKER 8) 8)
