Does any one know how big (in inches) the diameter of the air intake is on a 320i pre 1987 (the bit where you would attach a k&n) as i have just stumbled across a k&n at work (4 inch diameter) and the 320 is at home so i cant measure

About 2.5 inches, 67mm or maybe smaller as I measured a 325i.
