Anyway,a friend of mine has picked up a nice clean 92 318i touring in alpine white,nice clean original body but will need an engine.
We are toying with the idea of trying to locate and fit an m42? 318is engine and ecu.
How difficult is it to find one in the uk and how much money are we looking at?
Will we also need the matching gearbox or is the standard 318i box the same(ratio etc)?
