I think the backbox can be made to fit, but it will need a bit of work - hangers etc.
The M50 conversions in the US use the E36 Cats/center section, but Im not sure whats involved in getting them to fit.
The manifold will not fit.

Match up to the rest of the E30 system? I doubt it, the E36 325i is a larger bore pipe than the E30 system, but it probably could be made to fit.Lee_Coupe wrote: The backbox that I was really after would the bore match up and all the pipes just the mounts/hangers need a tinkle?
It might be possible to remove the E30 backbox from the pipes and weld on the E36 backbox in its place????

It fits on a RHD cars, i had E36 exhaust on my e30 with m50 swap, it only needed some small mods, otherwise its almost the same.
