Fitting wise and accuracy?
I got mechanical Oil/Boost gauges plumbed in already but there not matched.. trying to get a Cheapish Oil gauge that is not Mechanical is a PITA atm..how different are they,should i even be concerned.
Difference in Mechanical/Electrical Gauges?

You still need the oil feed to measure the pressure so apart from the illumination i dont really know what 'Electrical' means

A mechanical oil pressure gauge needs a small pipe running from the engine to the gauge itself. It's the gauge that does the actual measuring. On an electrical gauge, you have a pressure sender fitted on the engine and run a wire from this to the gauge. It's the sender that does the measuring, and the gauge is purely a display device.

The electric gauge will have a sensor fitted to the engine block in the oil way and a wire will come from that to the gauge. The sensor will screw in were the oil pressure sensor is fitted that works the light on the dash pod. It will work like the water temp gauge make sense ?
