Hi guys,

As I have the exhaust off my car at the moment to change the prop centre bearing and subframe bits, it occured to me that it would be a good time to get a boss welded in for a lambda sensor. So....

What size boss do I need?
Can I just go on one set of pipes (my exhaust is totally seperate for front and back 3 cylinders)?
Can I get one of the universal narrow band sensors off ebay? Which type do I need? 2/3/4 wire?

Thanks for the answers again! :D

Have heard from a good few sources that completely split systems on I6 engines lose you low end torque :(

There definately not a crossover pipe on yours James?

No its definatley 2 piece all the way back. It does feel a bit lackluster at low revs but pulls well at the top end and sounds good :D

How long is the average lambda sensor? I'm just trying to work out roughly where to put the boss in my exhaust without hitting part of the car. (got the boss not the sensor yet :D )

About 4 to 5 inches I'd say, have a couple to measure if you want exact sizes?

Thanks for the offer, I think I will just wait until I get my sensor to be on the safe side :D
