Love it.

Will this be the first 1500bhp UK E30? :D

Saw in PPC a little while ago that the badges on Jenvey throttle bodies blow off given enough provocation giving rise to a big air leak!

MORE...MORE...

I have always loved the M10 since 1977 when my mum got her first BMW.
Her second was the 316 E30 in 1987 and it was a nippy little barge - the more you thrashed it - the faster it became.

So 'Good & tight's' car has 323 RWHP.

I read -"As for calculating bhp from RWHP you simply take your RWHP figure (from getting the car dyno'd) and devide by .85".

Which is 380 BHP!
This is correct, yeah?

There are a few highly contested varibles for calculating flywheel HP toby, butwhen you have 323 hp at the rear wheels, not a lot is going to keep up, put it that way. Awesome motor, now where can i find a spare m10 and some room the size of an m10 to keep it.

holy shit, look at the size of the blower on that!
and the diameter of the exhaust, it nearly looks as big as the clutch!

Hi

There are plenty of turbo m10 e21's & 02's in the states google should bring up a load of sites, pro turbo in finland do a manifold. Grahm Buar used to get 350hp in his o2 turbo race car.

You want a late e30 block they are 8kg lighter, an 02/e21 2.0l crank as they are forged, some vw beetle forged pistons (cheap) and you get 2.1l. You can use an s14 crank & m30 rods & pistons which gives 2.2l.

I have a twin weber manifold fro the M10 if you are interested, used to have a load m10 bmw motorsport parts, bits but sold them cheap a few moths ago due to lack of interest.

I've got some later 3.5 M30 pistons and con rods if you need them, i don't want much for them
