Just interested to know, if I ever run into an E28 M5 that has a knackered shell but good engine, will the 24v 3.5l 280bhp engine from that fit into an E30 engine bay? Or is it only the standard 3.5l 220bhp engine that will fit in? Just thought that would be quite a beast.
