How much would it roughly cost, fitting all myself, the 535 engine into my e30?

Nah, but i know where there is a 535sport sitting that the guy wants to sell shortly due to going to oz
is it a worthwhile conversion?

Where is this 535? And how much is it...?
You'll need M3 prop, E28 535i rad, custom exhaust and E30.de engine mounts (or ones from Karan). This is at the very least.
Just bought my 335i project base. Keeping my eye out for a cheap 535i donor...
Good luck!

And doesn't that speak volumes
I'm going to an Auction tomorrow, hopefully I'll be leaving with either the 87 E32 735i or the 91 E34 535i. I've got to win one of them surely... M10man has been helping me fill the gaps for conversion information. I'm building a shed and all (I've got massive blisters from all the foundations digging
)
Its a lot harder to find cheap BMW's in Australia mind you! Good luck Georob if you go ahead with the conversion. Hey, maybe you can convince the guy to bring that car over to oz with him... I'm in Adelaide if he's stopping over LOL

if one is a manual then it's worth the extra money as i got my auto donor car for Ԛ£100 but had to spend Ԛ£400 to get a manual box, M30 flywheel, M3 prop (the auto prop is no use for a custom one or i would have done that) and a new clutch.mybmw6 wrote:I'm going to an Auction tomorrow, hopefully I'll be leaving with either the 87 E32 735i or the 91 E34 535i.
