The S50B32 I have got my grubby little hands on is from an MZRoadster. In these engine bays the header tank for the cooling system is found up where the brake servo is on the E30. Space is at a premium here as it is so this isn't likely to be an option.
Does anyone know what parts I'll need to fit to my car? The header tank that came with Roadster looks identical to that of a 325i but I am yet to compare them directly. Also, does the output for the cooling system exit the head/block in the same way as a â€Ëanormal' (M3 evo) engine?
I understand I shall need an M3 E36 radiator but are there any others that are suitable? Perhaps a E36 diesel/325i radiator with an integral header tank would be good to minimise under bonnet space/piping complexity?
Basically I'm after a list of parts I shall need to set up the cooling system for this swap..
I'm trying to do a big push in sourcing bits this month ready for next month when I'd like to start the swap.
Many thanks in advance guys.

I can only really see the rubber hoses on the MZ being different to that of the M3 Evo or 3.0ltr engine. All the outlets for the cooling system from the block/head should be the same as its the same engine.
The metal pipe with the 'Y' shape that runs along the block is the same as the E36 M3s, so you should be able to mount the expansion tank at the front and run the rubber pipe to it.
I used a length of rubber pipe and ran it from the 'Y' shape along the bulkhead and then the inner wing to the expansion tank. I used the E30 325i expansion tank.
The E36 M3 rad is the same as the ZM and so are the hoses, so you can just use that - its the easiest because the hoses match up.
Ive used an E30 M20 rad from an 'aircon' model which is taller than a standard E30 rad, the problem being the E36 hoses dont match up to it.

Excellent, I'll just get an E36 M3 rad then.. It'll be up to the job and it's what Ian has I think. My engine still has the hoses but the rad was missing at the scrappies. Typical.
£100 ish on ebay for a new one.. How much second hand do you think?
