hey all,
not sure if this goes in here,
on taking out my engine out of my e34 535i i caught one of the steering pump fluid pipes, i drained this before hand but there was still a load of oil in that pipe, can anyone tell me what removes oil from the floor???
it's been there for acouple of days,not had chance yet to clean it up.
what's the best for cleaning off the crap from the block??

This post ought to be in something like CHAT.
However to remove oil from the floor (assuming its concrete) i would opt for GUNK which you can buy from Halfords. its under a tenner i think and is very strong. Brush it in with a stiff brissle broom then wash it away with a hose.

vinger and washing up liquid and washing powder cost less 2 quid
as the vinger lifts the oil the other 2 degrease it and clean it
