Well today was a sad day...

The cheesiest picture i have seen for a long time, prior to the stripping, notice I don't look too chuffed:

This is what I started with:

About an hour and a half in:

And what it currently stands at now, 4 hours later

Its over :(

Oh well, had a bloody good time in it, most enjoyable in fact. It will be living on in another e30, so all is not lost.

I won't be leaving the site or the scene if I can help it, I shall stick around and help people like I have been helped

What an awesome project it was, if you are having second thoughts about getting boosted, DON'T just do it, you'll have so much fun, learn a shed load and have an awesome car at the end of it.

Well i'm not breaking it, just stripping the turbo bits for one person, and another person is taking the rest of the car. I'm sure all will be revealed sooner or later.

Wing isn't any good dan, before you pester me for the next owner ;)

It is a shame its come to this, but I can't justify keeping it. Needs must after all. :(

 boo! That sucks Jon! I feel for ya man!

You gonna sell the parts as a kit to someone or is it just bits and bobs?

Don't suppose you've got an LSD going have ya? <behold as the vulchers start to circle!>

It does suck, the whole kit is going to someone, then the remaining car is going to his friend. But I am fitting it to his car in a couple of weeks, i am just getting ahead of the game by stripping it.

I didn't even take it for one last blast, i feel kinda stupid, but less stupid than if i had have been pulled without any tax 8O

The car has no LSD, but as said, i am not breaking it, merely stripping the turbo parts off it.

If I was you would have been welcome to it, in exhange for a blast in yours :)

A sad day John but sometimes these things have to happen.....

Atleast the setup will survive on in another e30 and I bet it sounds awesome with the top down!!

So when you doing another one? :D

Andy: I'm trying to source myself an early audi s4 100 avant, basically the estate version so that i can lug about all my uni stuff to and fro. They are "only" group 16 but cost less than a e30 325 to insure, hopefully it should have some poke to it, and with it being turbocharged the abillity for more boost

Mark: It did have to happen, still sad none the less. As for when I'm doing another one, perhaps in a few years if anyone local has an m10 engine and a hx35 :P If I did another one I would so the engine out of the car, then find a nice 316 shell to annoy a few locals with.

Can't re iterate how much fun I had doing it, when mine is gone, i'm going to have to get my lazy ass to a meet, so I can drool/play with the other turbo e30's.
