No dude you said you already had a turbo, so you kinda want to know what size the turbo flange is(t3, t25/28 etc) so that you can get a manifold to work with that turbo. Unless of course you just want to junk the turbo that you have brought when you get a manifold with the wrong flangekoos wrote:Its not the flange that i'm worried about, its the rest of it, holes that line up etc. Is there one from a diesel BMW that fits maybe?

I think he means he's happy with fabbing a flange adapter, and is more interested in getting a manifold that's a good fit.

TBH mate, if you want it to be really good I think you may have to either buy one of the smart ones made by whichever fabrication company does them over here, or get one from the USA, or make it your self.

You need a manifold that look like this......

only one I've found that lets you still get the plugs out with everything in situ.

If your using a T3 flange turbo then there is alot of manifold available (proturbo, peakboost, 666, TCD, ITG,) and log one ant showed you looks fine the only other cast one ive seen is bottom mount one from TCD. If you want a T4 flange you will have to get a PPF or 666 manifold or a chinese T3 one like I sold to corky and swap the flanges over. Ive got a T4 flage turbo and i was going to order a PPF manifold for £450 but they were to busy last time I asked. My work friend starting a business doing engine conversions pursueded me to make my own which im starting next week, depending on how it goes I might be up for making some more. It will be alot like the PFF or unequal 666 manifold.
You might be able to get an adapter for T3 to T4 but it will probly be about 2" thick so you need to check clearance for your turbo if possible before you waste money on a manifold that doesnt work

The log is indeed cast specifically for the M20 turbo application, never found out who actully made them but they were designed for BBR in 1990 ish for their 255 bhp turbo M20 conversion
The one pictured is brand new never been fitted, what a waste huh !
